Our routesetting team works year-round to bring the community a variety of creative and challenging climbs for all levels of climbing. Echo Park sees a reset of one wall per week to bring fresh, new climbs on a regular basis, but with enough time in between sets to work your projects. See our setting schedule below.
GRADING SYSTEM
Boulder problems are generally graded in difficulty from VB to V10+ (easy to hard).
The color of the tag represents the grade grouping: green, blue, yellow, red, or black.
The color of the holds denotes the path of the climb.
Tags with the grade (i.e. “V1”) denote both the grade and where you begin the climb.
“2nd Hand” tags denote an additional secondhand start hold.
Climbs are finished either by getting both hands on the top of the wall or on the hold with the “Finish” tag.
ADDITIONAL SETTING INFORMATION
